"PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate)" is a general-purpose engineering plastic with excellent electrical insulation properties and a high dielectric breakdown voltage, making it suitable for components in electronic precision devices. It has high chemical resistance to all but strong alkalis, and there is almost no degradation of physical properties even after prolonged immersion. Additionally, when reinforced with glass fibers, it has low water absorption and thermal expansion coefficient, resulting in excellent dimensional stability at high temperatures.
