When performing chamfering on both sides of a board or on holes opened in it, it is usually necessary to flip the workpiece from front to back. However, with the THECUT MTMS-WM front and back chamfering tool or the DFC double-sided chamfer cutter, it is possible to chamfer both sides without flipping the workpiece (there are thickness limitations for the workpiece). The inserts are made of carbide material, which has a long lifespan and can be used on three corners, making them economical. 【Features】 ■ Usable with general machining centers. ■ For front and back chamfering of boards, thickness can be up to 30mm. ■ For front and back chamfering of holes, the maximum chamfering amount is 2.8C, and the depth can be accommodated up to approximately 80mm. ■ Chamfering on the back side of T-slots is also possible. ■ Cutting speeds range from 60 to 150 Vc (m/min-1), and feed rates range from 0.02 to 0.15 fz (mm/t). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
