High performance with a small installation area! Transmission heating dryer "CD Dryer"
Compared to conventional drum dryers, the installation area is about 40% and the capacity is approximately twice as much! Conduction heating type liquid dryer *Catalog with case studies available for distribution.
The CD dryer is a conduction heating type liquid dryer that dries by indirectly heating liquids through heat conduction from a heat source. The features of the CD dryer include the following: - High performance: The liquid sprayed onto the disk surface forms a thin film, which enhances conductivity and increases processing capacity per unit heat transfer area. Additionally, the dried material on the heat transfer surface is constantly scraped off by a scraper, ensuring stable high processing capacity. - Compact: By using the thin disk's good properties as the heat transfer surface, a large heat transfer area can be secured within a compact space. *Compared to a double dryer, the installation area is about 40% smaller. - Energy-saving and high efficiency: The compact design minimizes heat loss, achieving a high energy efficiency of 80-85%. - Speedy: The heat capacity of the disks in the heat transfer section is small, allowing even large machines to operate approximately 5 minutes after steam input. - Process reduction: Since it can dry from liquid to powder, significant reductions in upstream and downstream processes such as concentration and pulverization are possible. *For more details, please download the PDF of the catalog that includes usage examples and case studies, or contact us.

basic information
The drum-type dryer adopts the same principle as the cylinder dryer used in papermaking, but utilizes both sides of a hollow disk as the heat transfer surface instead of the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical drum. Our company has re-recognized that "a dryer is a heat exchanger," and by increasing the heat transfer coefficient, we have achieved a higher performance dryer. As a result, in water evaporation tests, we were able to achieve an evaporation capacity of over 200 kg/m²h (at 20°C water) and an overall heat transfer coefficient of 2,300 W/m²K. This represents a groundbreaking high performance for indirect heat transfer liquid dryers. Dryers that transfer heat indirectly experience a decrease in heat transfer surface cleaning capacity as usage time increases, but the CD dryer continuously cleans the heat transfer surface, allowing it to maintain a consistent processing capacity.
