The "CS-7 type" is a device that measures the radial clearance of bearings and determines their quality. The inspected bearings sent from the previous process enter the measurement section, where measurements are taken. If the measurements fall within a pre-set range, they are deemed acceptable and flow to the next process; if they are outside the range, they are deemed unacceptable and discharged as NG. The measurement involves fixing the inner ring of the bearing in a collet chuck, pushing down the outer ring diameter from above, and then pushing up the outer ring diameter from below. The measurement value at this time becomes the radial clearance, which is used to determine pass or fail.
