A compact high-brightness LED package that enhances the design flexibility of lighting fixtures and creates a new lighting environment.
The biggest feature of the LED for lighting, the "Direct Mountable Chip," is its structure, which includes a special "reflective wall" on the side of the LED chip that efficiently reflects light generated within the package to the top surface of the package. By minimizing the amount of light emitted in the direction of the package sides, it is possible to reduce the crosstalk phenomenon (light attenuation and color change caused by adjacent LED products) that occurs when multiple CSPs are densely implemented. This technology enables the realization of lighting fixtures that achieve both high luminous flux density and high light extraction efficiency, which were difficult to achieve with conventional CSPs, in various lighting application products. Additionally, the "Monochrome Color Direct Mountable Chip" realizes blue, green, orange, and red emissions based on the technology we have developed for blue chips and phosphors.
