Company B, a manufacturer of organic solvents, is developing new solvents related to advanced semiconductor mass production technology. The products currently under development at the company contain extremely low levels of metal ions, making the previously used PFA bottles unsuitable due to excessive metal ion leaching from the containers. Attempts to perform acid cleaning in-house did not result in a decrease in ion levels.
