Double break contacts compatible with high capacity, also capable of handling 1mA 4VDC.
The micro switch 83 series 132/133/134 features double-break contacts. Double-break contacts have a lower contact load than single-break, resulting in less electrical arcing that quickly extinguishes, making it less prone to contact welding, which is suitable for high capacity. Additionally, there are products with gold-plated contacts that can handle 1mA at 4VDC. With a mechanical lifespan of 10 million cycles, it has a long lifespan and is less affected by magnetic fields compared to reed switches. Furthermore, it does not require power consumption during standby like optical sensors and is more resistant to foreign objects than optical sensors. The basic model number is determined by the direction of the terminal output. Side terminal 83132, bottom terminal 83133, front terminal 83134.

basic information
This series includes a type that optionally does not have a return spring. The standard Cruze micro switch is a momentary type, which automatically returns to its original position due to the force of the return spring when the pressing force on the plunger is released. However, it cannot be used for applications that require ON/OFF operation in response to the movement of the counterpart. Additionally, even if the direction of operation is the same as in alternate types, it does not match such applications. The Cruze option without a return spring does not return to its original position when the pressing force is released; it returns to the original position when the plunger is pulled by an external force. Since there is no holding mechanism like in a latch type, the operation is smooth. Furthermore, it has a snap-action mechanism, so the switch will not stop in an intermediate position. It is ideal for applications that require ON/OFF operation in accordance with the movement of a float, like in a float switch. It can handle large currents, eliminating the need for current amplification or relay circuits.
