Infrared spectral measurement using a state-of-the-art optical system that covers a wide area.
[Free Gift] Introducing the Features and Actual Measurements of "VERTEX FM"
Infrared spectroscopy can be broadly classified into three categories based on the wavenumber range of the infrared light used for measurement: near-infrared spectroscopy, mid-infrared spectroscopy, and far-infrared spectroscopy. By leveraging the characteristics of each spectral region, it becomes possible to deepen our understanding of the analytes. The "VERTEX FM" introduced in this document is a new option for the "VERTEX series FT-IR," based on our advanced optical design technology, featuring a state-of-the-art beam splitter and detector. It allows for the acquisition of a wide spectral range from part of the near-infrared region to the mid-infrared/far-infrared in a single measurement without the need to change optical components. Here, we will particularly introduce the features of "VERTEX FM" and actual measurement examples, focusing on the measurement of "mid to far" wide-range infrared spectra.
