The ATEX-certified Ex[pz] purge system reduces the classification of protected enclosures from Zone 2 to non-hazardous, allowing the use and operation of general-purpose equipment within the protected enclosure. When used as a Type Y purge, it reduces the classification from Div. 1 to Div. 2. In the case of Type Z purge, it reduces the classification from Div. 2 to non-hazardous.
