"Alemco Seal 4030" is a water-dispersible, one-component ceramic-silicone sealant that exhibits excellent moisture resistance and insulation properties after complete curing. It is used to protect ceramic fire boards and ceramic materials in ovens and electric furnaces from the heat of heaters. It is particularly used for protecting motor windings. The dielectric breakdown strength is 750 VDC/mil. The maximum heat resistance is 482°C. It can be easily applied using a brush, roller, or spray gun. After application, it should be dried at room temperature for 60 minutes, followed by firing at 249°C for 45 minutes to achieve the sealing effect.
