Our "EC300" is a semi-automatic welding wire compatible with ultra-high-strength steel plates. The function of the added elements suppresses organizational changes, allowing for safe welding of most steel materials used in automotive bodies (those with a carbon content of less than 2%). Additionally, the melting point of the material is approximately 250°C lower than that of conventional mild steel wires, resulting in high wettability and ease of welding. 【Features】 ■ The welding metal achieves a high hardness of about 890 MPa immediately after welding (about twice that of mild steel wire) and up to about 1100 MPa after self-hardening. ■ The work hardening characteristics of the welding metal provide excellent fatigue strength properties. ■ With chromium making up over 30% of the alloy components, high corrosion resistance is achieved. ■ It can be used with low voltage and current, localizing the molten area and minimizing the occurrence of the heat-affected zone (HAZ). *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
