This product is a hydrophilic PTFE syringe filter that possesses the inherent chemical resistance of PTFE with a hydrophilic membrane. Traditionally, using hydrophobic PTFE syringe filters with aqueous solvents required pre-filtration with alcohol or similar substances. However, this hydrophilic PTFE filter eliminates the need for such pre-treatment processes and utilizes a groundbreaking PTFE membrane that can be used with aqueous solvents. Additionally, the excellent chemical resistance inherent to PTFE remains intact, allowing for use with both organic and aqueous solvents, which eliminates the need for different filters and contributes to cost reduction.
