New standard coaxial connector compatible with E band up to 90GHz provided by Doku Spinner Co., Ltd.
The 1.35mm – E connector is a new coaxial connector positioned between the 1.85mm connector, which supports up to 70GHz, and the 1.0mm connector, which supports up to 110GHz. Until now, in the E band used in radar and other applications, it was necessary to choose the 1.0mm connector that supports up to 110GHz, which posed challenges due to its small size and delicate handling. Spinner GmbH, in collaboration with measurement instrument manufacturers and European research institutions, is developing a connector optimized for the E band and is preparing for IEC and IEEE standardization.
