New Rotating Seals Developed for E-Mobility Product developers at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions have created two new high-speed rotating seals: HiSpin® PDR RT and HiSpin® HS40, in response to the requests of electric vehicle manufacturers. These new seals represent a significant step forward in overcoming various challenges associated with seals used in extremely harsh operating environments involving high-speed rotation. With these next-generation sealing technologies, we aim to achieve the ultimate goal of electric vehicles: to deliver the same driving range on a single charge as gasoline vehicles.
