Introducing examples of utilizing multi-objective function optimization in automatic control for 10-mode operation!
We will introduce a case where the multi-objective function optimization capability of our "modeFRONTIER" was applied to embedded control systems, establishing a coupling method between "CRAMAS" and "modeFRONTIER." As a test problem, we used a simplified model of an engine and automatic transmission (AT) and conducted automatic control of 10-mode driving in Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation (HILS). The driver model's accelerator and brake operation amounts were determined by "modeFRONTIER" based on differences in target vehicle speed, deriving optimal parameters. The M-file describing the operation of "CRAMAS" was autonomously controlled in the background, enabling real-time control. [Case Study] ■ Software Used: modeFRONTIER, CRAMAS ■ Objective: Automatic control of 10-mode driving in HILS ■ Results - The driver model's accelerator and brake operation amounts were determined by "modeFRONTIER." - Optimal parameters were derived. - The operation of "CRAMAS" was autonomously controlled in the background using the M-file. - Real-time control was achieved. *For more details, please refer to the external link or feel free to contact us.
