Depack is a nickname for a high-voltage electrostatic induction generation device developed by Santech Giken, derived from the initials of "Dynamic Effect, Powerful Antioxidation Keeping." ● Providing delicious and safe ingredients It protects ingredients from oxidative deterioration, allowing for high-quality thawing without discoloration. Because there is less drip during thawing, ingredients can be stored for over a week without bacterial growth. ● Contributing to improved yield A comparison of weight loss due to drip loss during chicken thawing was conducted for one year before and after the introduction of Depack. After implementation, weight loss was reduced by approximately 5.5% annually. During 300 tons of thawing operations per year, this results in a loss amount reduction of ¥5,810,000 annually (calculated at ¥350 per kg). ● Improving work efficiency Conventional thawing machines require the transfer of thawed items to storage once thawing is complete. In contrast, the Depack thawing machine automatically switches to freshness preservation mode once the ingredients are thawed to the set temperature, allowing for direct storage without the need for transfer. By simply setting the ingredients to be used the next day in the Depack thawing machine the day before, the ingredients will be ready at the optimal temperature for the next process the following day.
