In scientifically evaluating the texture of food, internal voids serve as an indicator for assessing softness. To evaluate the internal voids of pancakes, we prepared pancakes made with a normal amount of eggs [1] and pancakes made with double the amount of eggs [2], and observed the internal voids using X-ray CT.
