A new model, MM500, has been added to the mixer mill, which is compact in size and widely used for sample preparation of small quantities.
The new design of the grinding jar (container) and the adoption of an upgraded drive have improved airtightness and grinding capability, enabling ultra-fine grinding (<0.1 μm) comparable to a planetary ball mill, grinding under gas atmosphere, and long durations for mechanical alloying (MA) and mechanochemical processes. Additionally, the jar capacity has increased to a maximum of 125ml.
