We accept contract processing of fluorine surface treatment by vacuum deposition, from prototyping to mass production.
In Katsurayama Technology's vacuum deposition process, a fluorine thin film with a thickness of 10 to 20 nm is applied to metals and glass, imparting effects such as water repellency, oil repellency, dirt resistance, and release properties to the surface of the substrate. We can accommodate everything from small-scale prototypes for effect confirmation to mass production for actual products. [Features] - The film thickness being treated is very thin at 10 to 20 nm, making it unlikely to affect the dimensions of the substrate when applied to molds and other items. - Supports aspect ratios up to 5 in the depth direction (depth of 5 for a hole diameter of 1). - Can accommodate substrate sizes up to 700 mm square. - The colorless and transparent thin film can minimize optical effects on optical components. [Main Applications] - Release treatment for semiconductor encapsulation molds. - Release treatment for Ni electroformed stamping molds for light guide plates and polarizers. - Dirt-resistant treatment for glass used in commercial copiers. - Ink-repellent treatment for commercial inkjet printer heads. - Dirt-resistant treatment for semiconductor polishing equipment parts (preventing slurry adhesion).

basic information
[Important Notice] The fluorine materials we use are chemically bonded to the surfaces of metal and glass substrates. If there is dirt such as existing coatings, rust preventatives, or resin films present at the time of supply, the fluorine materials will not adhere properly and will not be able to perform adequately. Therefore, please ensure that the substrates are supplied free of dirt and other coatings.
