Typical standard reflectors are divided into two types: specular reflectors and diffuse reflectors. "Specular reflection" occurs when light from one direction is reflected in another direction, with the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection being the same relative to the reflecting surface. "Diffuse reflection," in contrast to specular reflection, involves incident light being reflected in various directions.
