This is an achromatic wave plate made from two different materials: crystalline quartz and magnesium fluoride. It features a high-efficiency broadband anti-reflective coating and exhibits excellent retardation characteristics over a wide wavelength range. It is available in four wavelength ranges: VIS (450–680 nm), NIR (700–1000 nm), 950–1300 nm, and 1200–1650 nm. The wave plate is housed in a black anodized aluminum casing. - Aperture: Φ12.7mm - Ring mount outer diameter: 25.4 mm - Ring mount thickness: 8 mm - Retardation tolerance: < λ/100 across the entire wavelength range - Wavefront distortion: < λ/4 @ 633 nm - Parallelism: < 1 arcmin - AR coating: R < 0.8% - Laser damage threshold: > 3 J/cm², 10 nsec, 1064 nm typical - Surface accuracy: 40-20 scratch & dig (MIL-PRF-13830B)
