Meikodo is one of the leading manufacturers of "Hiroshima needles." After many years of research, we aim to improve quality and streamline processes, while also utilizing our unique specialized techniques related to needle production—such as wire processing technology (header processing, tip processing, insert molding technology, etc.)—in other fields as well. At Meikodo, we accurately capture changing needs and engage in various internal activities to reflect customer requests in our products. In addition to taking actions that expand human creativity infinitely, we are always proactive in accumulating and developing technical skills. Technologies we possess: - We perform processes from wire to straightening, cutting, header processing, and tip grinding all with a single machine. - We carry out automatic bending processes for wire materials, producing items similar to safety pins. - We perform insert molding of metal and needles, as well as two-color molding. - We design and manufacture precision molding dies using CAD and CAM systems. - We also design and manufacture various automatic machines related to the above technologies.
