Company information
Our company was founded in 1952 and entered the tourism souvenir confectionery market in 1959, manufacturing and selling our own brand products as well as OEM products. For half a century in the local San'in region, we have been favored for our famous confection "Inaba no Shiro Usagi." In 1993, we opened "Okashi no Kotobuki-jo" near Yonago Road and Yonago IC, attracting over one million visitors each year. We manufacture and sell "Tochi Mochi," created using advanced techniques for processing tochi nuts, allowing many customers to enjoy its taste. In recent years, we have also ventured into the health food sector. In 2002, we began researching the health functions of "tochi," the main ingredient of "Tochi Mochi," collaborating with universities and prefectural research institutions. In 2009, we launched the health tea "Tochi no Mi Cha," which has been well-received by many customers. Additionally, we sell raw materials for "Tochi no Mi Extract Powder," extracted and powdered from tochi nuts. Since 2012, we have also focused on "indigo." The San'in region has a rich culture of indigo dyeing, including Izumo weaving, Yumigahama kasuri, and Kurayoshi kasuri. The raw material "indigo" has historically been used as a medicinal plant, and we are also engaged in research on its functionality. We sell products made from this "indigo" raw material as well.
