Founded in 1948 as a manufacturer of tatami production equipment closely related to Japanese housing, our company has consistently developed the concept of "automation and labor-saving of work traditionally done by craftsmen" (i.e., "Connecting.") and has taken on the mission of "creating rich living spaces" and "creating comfortable workplace environments" (i.e., "Creating.") through the development of original products, thereby creating markets and expanding our business. In recent years, our custom industrial equipment business, represented by manufacturing equipment for secondary batteries used in vehicles, has been driving our further growth by leveraging our core technology accumulated over many years in automation and labor-saving. In October 2023, marking our 75th anniversary, we changed our company name from "Kyokuto Sanki Co., Ltd." to "KLASS Co., Ltd.," a name that has been cherished for nearly 60 years. This change reflects our strong desire to aim for a "2.4 industrial" type of company unique to a development-oriented machinery manufacturer that embodies "Connecting. Creating."
