Snap action refers to a mechanism where contacts switch quickly at a certain position of movement, regardless of the speed or force applied to the switch. It is composed of a tension spring and a compression spring. The quick switching results in a short arc time between the contacts, which reduces contact wear. During operation, the snap action mechanism changes the direction of force, and at that moment, the forces of the tension spring and compression spring balance out, resulting in zero force to move the switch. Therefore, when turning the switch OFF, the movable contact may stop midway. This state is called the balance point. Kruze switches are equipped with an additional return spring. This spring provides a force to return the contact at the stress equilibrium point of the tension and compression springs, ensuring reliable switching. There is no balance point in Kruze switches. The Kruze V5 series features this mechanism and includes ultra-compact switches that are tightly compressed. The V5 series consists of three types: the waterproof and dustproof V5S 8320, the standard V5D 83194, and the high-precision 83141, allowing selection based on usage requirements.
