The helixx laser manufactured by Laser Quantum in the UK is one of the few wavelength-tunable femtosecond lasers on the market that oscillates at a repetition frequency of 250 MHz. It has a maximum average output of 2.3W and a pulse width of 50 fs, with the ability to vary the oscillation wavelength in the range of 720 nm to 920 nm. The helixx laser completely seals the Ti:sapphire oscillator and the excitation laser in a compact, vibration-resistant integrated housing, using a high-performance laser power supply to monitor the entire system, including temperature, humidity, and excitation laser intensity, ensuring stable operation. The helixx system is user-friendly, designed for operation with a key switch and an oscillation button, thanks to its automatic control system. Although the helixx laser has an average output of 2.3W, the high repetition frequency of 250 MHz keeps the peak power per pulse low.
