The LDY PIV laser system is a dual-head laser system that uses LD-excited Nd:YLF. The maximum pulse energy is 30mJ at 1kHz, making it suitable for high-speed PIV and as an excitation light source. The laser head is constructed with an inverted rail structure, providing optical and mechanical stability, and it emits very stable laser light due to the resonator design patented by Litron.
