Complete straight pipe structure, lightweight & easy installation flow sensor.
FLOWave Type8098
Zero pressure loss due to a completely straight pipe structure! A suitable SAW flow sensor for filling, achieving a lightweight of 3.4 kg in size 2S.
Measurable even with zero conductivity! By adopting SAW technology, it features a lightweight design of 2kg for 15A and 3.4kg for 2S. A sanitary flow sensor "FLOWave Type8098" that replaces the Coriolis type with a completely straight pipe and no pressure loss. ● No pressure loss due to the completely straight pipe structure! ● Lightweight and high-precision flow sensor at 3.4kg for 2S and 2kg for 15A ● Pulse output possible from 0 to 2000 Hz ● Measurement cycle can be set to as short as approximately 40ms ● Capable of measuring ultra-pure water, WFI, pure water, contact cleaning liquids, oils, etc., regardless of conductivity By adopting SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) technology, it can measure without depending on conductivity. With a completely straight stainless steel tube that removes the probe and detection element from the contact part, it achieves the same cleanliness as a straight pipe. In addition to high sanitary properties, it is suitable for ultra-pure water and WFI, where electromagnetic flow meters cannot be used. It can also be used for edible oils, liquid eggs, and milk (raw milk). 【Features】 ○ Excellent cleanliness with full bore and detection part not in contact with the liquid 〇 Proven track record with oils, liquid eggs, and raw milk 〇 Achieves high precision of ±0.4% O.R. (flow velocity 1 m/s - 10 m/s)

basic information
Measurement Accuracy: ±0.4% O.R. (Flow rate 1 to 10 [m/s]), ±0.08% F.S. (Flow rate 0.1 to 1 [m/s]) Measured Variables: Volume flow, instantaneous flow, temperature, ATF (SAW transmission rate), Density Factor Fluid Temperature: -20 to 110℃ (max 140℃ for less than 60 minutes) Output Format: 4-20mA analog signal & pulse output (0-2000Hz) or industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, EtherCAT) Pipe Connection: 15A to 2S Heller 【Measurement Principle】 Adopts SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves). Four digital transducers installed on the outside of a stainless steel tube perform the transmission and reception of SAW. The SAW received by each transducer is calculated to determine the flow rate, so the conductivity value does not affect the measurement. Since the frequency is above 1MHz, external vibrations do not affect measurement accuracy.
