We will respond to medium and small lot production and mass production using simple molds (prototype molds) for injection molding.
Injection molding involves pouring melted resin (plastic) into a mold to create parts that conform to the shape of the mold. At Zen, we manufacture simple molds and perform injection molding to accommodate medium-lot production of resin parts and small-scale mass production. These simple molds (prototype molds) are made from easily machinable materials like aluminum, allowing for quick production of molds. Additionally, by making the molds cassette-style, we can standardize the mold base, which allows us to reduce the size of the molds themselves, thereby lowering costs and shortening delivery times compared to mass production molds. Since the molds are made from materials like aluminum or ZAS, their lifespan is shorter compared to mass production molds, with shot counts around 10,000 shots (depending on the shape). "Do you need a relatively large number of plastic parts!?" "The cost of mass production molds is too high. Can it be cheaper!?" "Is verification with the same molding material as mass production necessary!?" This is recommended for such situations. We can procure the desired materials or accommodate those provided by the customer.

basic information
■Features of Injection Molding and Simple Molds >>Common Mold Base with Cassette System The mold base is common, and a cassette-type mold is set and used. This method allows for a short delivery time of approximately two weeks from the initial setup. >>Complex Shapes Supported with Inserts We can create inserts (placement pieces) according to the shape, not just simple male-female structures. We can accommodate complex parts with undercuts. >>Compatible with Heat-Resistant Materials We can handle heat-resistant materials that are difficult to work with using aluminum molds. We also support press sheet metal using ZAS material. For textures and mirror finishes, we flexibly accommodate using the easily processed ZAS material.

Company information
We provide support in all aspects of manufacturing, from the prototype stage to mass production, with nationwide coverage. We manufacture parts for prototypes and working models from just one piece using various processing technologies such as resin cutting, metal cutting, vacuum casting, simple molds, injection molding, painting, sheet metal, and 3D printing! Additionally, if it can be handled with prototype methods, we will do our best to accommodate the production of low-volume parts! We also design and support devices and tools for verification! With 50 years of experience and a track record of 2,000 companies, we support your manufacturing with the know-how we have accumulated. We have 71 processing machines, 13 measuring instruments, and various CAD/CAM systems in-house. In 2014, we obtained "ISO 9001" and conduct thorough quality management as an organization to provide prototypes that satisfy our customers. Particularly regarding the delivery time for prototypes, we have a flexible system in place, allowing for ultra-short delivery times tailored to our customers' requests.
