It is equipped with an Arduino-compatible board that has 14 digital input/output pins (6 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 8 analog inputs, 1 16 MHz crystal oscillator, 1 USB connector, 1 power jack, 1 ICSP header, and 1 reset button. It is fully equipped with all the necessary features to support a microcontroller, allowing programming in C and C++.
Arduino is developed as open-source hardware, allowing for easy programming using the vast amount of sample code available worldwide. This product also adopts an Arduino-compatible board, enabling programming with the free Arduino IDE.
To ensure that the robot can confirm the surrounding situation, ultrasonic sensors are installed in three locations around it. These sensors can be useful for obstacle avoidance during omnidirectional movement using omni-wheels. Additionally, the ultrasonic sensors equipped on this device adopt the RS485 communication format, allowing for an increase in the number of sensors without using Arduino pins.
