The "internal gear pump" consists of a gear, which is the driving gear, and a pinion, which is the driven gear. The pinion is attached to the pinion pin via a pinion bushing. The center of the pinion is eccentric to the center of the gear, and there is a crescent-shaped partition between the two gears.
