It is also possible to compare mesh data (including point clouds) exported from advanced analytical software with product data due to recent technological innovations. Specifically, it can check overall shrinkage (confirmation of thin areas), product dimension tolerances, and defects such as sink marks and warping, and it has the ability to reflect only the modifications within the product correction model into the latest mold data without stress. A notable feature of Cimatron's ECO function is its ability to directly reflect design changes into the latest mold data. While many other CAD software also have comparison functions, the ability to compare modification data with mold data, accurately detect changes, and directly reflect those changes into the mold data is unique to Cimatron.
