[Analysis Case] Metal Corrosion Test of Water-Soluble Cutting Oil

Confirmation of corrosion brought to tools, castings, and machines! Observed the discoloration of the metal.

This is an introduction to a case where a test piece was immersed in a sample solution to observe the degree of discoloration of the metal (corrosion level). This was conducted to evaluate the corrosiveness of water-soluble cutting oils on metals. The test piece was polished and partially immersed in the test solution, then covered and left to stand.
