At FORC RAS, it is possible to design fibers based on customer requests.
This fiber, known as microstructured or photonic crystal fiber (PCF), contains holes or inclusions with different refractive indices in the core or cladding. By doing so, new dispersion values and nonlinear effects can be achieved. Applications using photonic crystal fibers require their own unique microstructures, and at FORC RAS, it is possible to design fibers based on customer requests.
