Applications/Examples of results
Black dyeing processing requires complete degreasing due to chemical reactions. (Note: Insufficient degreasing can cause dye unevenness.) For degreasing agents, there is trichloroethylene or a dedicated degreasing agent, Tobikamarit, a water-based degreasing cleaning agent made by Tobi Co. In the case of trichloroethylene degreasing agent, immerse the material to be dyed for 1 to 2 minutes, then remove it after sufficient degreasing, allow it to air dry, and wash with water. When using an alkaline degreasing agent, immerse in a detergent solution at 50 to 60°C for 4 to 5 minutes, then wash with water and neutralize in a 5 to 10% sulfuric acid solution (for about 1 minute) before washing with water. If there is rust or smut, immerse in a 10% hydrochloric acid solution (a solution diluted 2 to 3 times with water from industrial hydrochloric acid) for 1 to 2 minutes. ↓ [3. Black Dye Treatment] Dilute the room temperature black dye Tobik Blacky C with water (distilled water or tap water) at a ratio of 1:6 (7 times), and immerse the pre-treated material in this solution, stirring up and down several times, for 5 to 7 minutes. (Be careful, as using the concentrate directly or insufficient dilution can lead to poor fixation.) Since black "sludge" adheres to the surface, lightly wipe it with a sponge or cloth. Additionally, using Chemik's ChemQ Sludge Remover Spray will be even more effective.
