General-purpose hindered phenol-based antioxidant
It is an antioxidant that is effective in improving long-term thermal stability due to its high molecular weight and low leachability. RIANOX 1010 is the most versatile hindered phenolic antioxidant used in a wide range of applications, including polyolefins, elastomers, engineering plastics, synthetic rubber, adhesives, coatings, and petroleum resins. It is added to impart heat resistance to polymers, and due to its own high molecular weight, it excels in volatility and extractability resistance.
