[Case Study] High Pressure Abnormality in Outdoor Unit! A Case of Troubles Resolved through Cleaning
This is a case where the issue of the outdoor unit, equipped with a cooling spray system, experiencing abnormal shutdown due to high pressure rise in summer was resolved.
At a mechanical manufacturing plant, an outdoor unit equipped with a cooling spray system experienced an abnormal shutdown due to a rise in high pressure during the summer. The outdoor unit had some white substance attached to it, and the company contacted us stating that "it cannot be removed by conventional regular cleaning with high-pressure water." Upon investigation, it was found that hard well water was used in the spray system, causing scale to precipitate and adhere to the fins of the outdoor unit's heat exchanger. Additionally, it was discovered that excessive cleaning with high-pressure water had caused the fins to bend, and the combination of scale and bent fins was blocking the airflow, leading to the high-pressure anomaly. As a solution, we carried out a cleaning process. During this, we used a special cleaning agent to avoid damaging the aluminum fins. The bent fins were also returned to their normal state, resolving the issue. [Case Summary] ■ Issues - The outdoor unit with a cooling spray system experienced an abnormal shutdown due to a rise in high pressure during the summer. - It could not be removed by conventional regular cleaning with high-pressure water. ■ Solutions - Cleaned with a special cleaning agent to avoid damaging the aluminum fins. - Restored the bent fins to their normal state. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
A year later, we received a message from the customer saying, "We have felt a reduction in electricity costs, so we would like to implement this in other factories as well." Subsequently, to prevent scale buildup, we installed a device to convert well water into soft water and applied a coating to the fins so that they can be cleaned with high-pressure water, taking preventive measures. Even now, the outdoor unit is maintaining normal operation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
