Additionally, the "Twin Cell" is a wet total heat exchanger that uses a highly hygroscopic Kassen solution as the heat exchange medium, unlike conventional dry methods. It consists of two cells for supply and exhaust air, where the Kassen solution is sprayed in each cell, allowing for the exchange of sensible and latent heat through contact with the air. The Kassen solution is continuously circulated between the cells by a pump, ensuring stable operation. Since it exchanges total heat, it significantly reduces the load on cooling and heating, while the sterilizing power of the Kassen solution ensures that both supply and exhaust air are always clean.
