Improving the abrasion resistance of the body liner allows for an extension of maintenance intervals!
The body liner, which controls the flow of crushed material, wears out due to hot air and the crushed material. Since the inner wall of the mill gets damaged, it is necessary to replace the body liner, which takes time and costs, resulting in significant effort. To eliminate the disadvantages of replacement, our company performs hardfacing welding inside the mill. As a result, we have successfully regenerated the body liners of bowl-type mills and the deflector plates of MVM-type mills. 【Benefits of performing the work inside the mill】 ■ No need for replacement ■ Improved wear resistance through hardfacing regeneration ■ Extension of replacement timing ■ Cost reduction *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Efforts Regarding Wear Resistance】 ■ Using a semi-automatic welding machine, we regenerated the worn areas or the entire body liner with WA company's wear-resistant welding material MILL100 (approximate composition: 5% C - 25% Cr - others). ■ Since the wear was uniform at about 1 to 3 mm, we performed 1 to 2 layers of buildup regeneration across the entire surface. ■ After one year of operation following the buildup regeneration, almost no wear was observed, confirming high wear resistance. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
