Products with excellent specific strength and specific rigidity can be manufactured! It allows for reduced processing time and longer tool life.
At Tobata Manufacturing, we have developed a powder of "flame-retardant magnesium alloy" for use in additive manufacturing. In its molded state, it achieves a tensile strength of 350 MPa and an elongation of 6%, while in its processed state, it achieves a tensile strength of 440 MPa and an elongation of 10%. Additionally, we can meet the needs for additive manufactured products as well as functional materials. 【Features】 ■ Flame-retardant ■ Lightweight ■ High specific strength and specific stiffness ■ Machinability *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Tobata Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was established in 1948 in Tobata as a specialized manufacturer of copper and copper alloys, and has relocated its base to the Sone area of Kokura Minami Ward over half a century ago. We manufacture copper products for blast furnaces and electric furnaces for steel manufacturers both domestically and globally. In recent years, we have successfully developed flame-retardant magnesium alloys, which are gaining attention as lightweight materials aimed at reducing environmental impact, and we are also challenging ourselves in new fields.
