The VAD-i402A.xx.56 transmits four channels of composite video signals and two channels of control (serial) signals over single-mode optical fiber up to 20 km and over multi-mode optical fiber up to 3 km. The video is transmitted after digital conversion, ensuring no degradation in image quality.

- Transmits 4 types of composite video (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) over a single optical fiber. - Simultaneous bidirectional transmission of RS232C (TxD, RXD) and RS485 is possible (can select RS232C and RS485 or RS485 x 2 systems). - Transmission is done with a transmitter (VAD-i402A.TC.56) and a receiver (VAD-i402A.RC.56). - The transmission distance is up to 20 km for single mode and up to 3 km for multi-mode. - Serial communication supports up to 250 kbps. (Speed is automatically recognized) - Optical fiber is not affected by noise from other devices or cables. - Does not generate noise such as electromagnetic waves from the optical fiber. - Ground loops that cause video noise do not occur. - Operates on DC 9-12V. (DC12V power adapter included) - When installing multiple units, a separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis can be used to install up to 16 units together. *This product does not support AHD / HD-TVI / HDCVI (analog HD) video signals. Compatible products are the VAD-H series and HD401F series.
