We would like to introduce a case study on improvements for steam turbines used for power generation (lubricating oil, control oil). Since the centrifugal filter malfunctioned eight years ago, we have been cleaning the oil once a year during downtime, but we experienced operational failures with the steam valve and control valve. Upon disassembly and inspection, rust and foreign matter were found in the hydraulic components. As a result, we installed a permanent high-performance filtration system for industrial oil. As a result, the introduction of the high-performance filtration system for industrial oil has maintained a high level of oil cleanliness, improved reliability, and reduced maintenance costs.
