Easy continuity check with just a touch of your finger.
The finger touch sensor NMT64B is an optional product for harness testers that enables continuity testing by touching the conductor of a cable with your finger. It utilizes the induced current received by the human body to confirm the continuity of the conductor touched by the finger. It can be connected to all harness testers sold by Nack Corporation that feature a search function. Currently, in the inspection field of wire harnesses, testing of one-sided cut cables (one side unprocessed and untreated) is difficult with probes, posing challenges for continuity testing operations. This product allows for continuity testing simply by touching the end of a one-sided cut cable with your finger, significantly improving work efficiency and greatly reducing inspection time. In addition to one-sided cut cables, it can be utilized for various applications such as navigation during connector housing and wiring work in distribution boards.

Applications/Examples of results
- For continuity testing of unprocessed cables - For navigation during housing to connectors - For checking mark tubes - For improving the efficiency of wiring work to distribution boards
Detailed information
-
It is easy to check the continuity of stranded cables, which are difficult to touch with a search probe, by touching them with your finger.
-
- Effective for housing the connector while confirming the continuity of the terminals during navigation to the connector. It allows for housing while checking the connection points, which helps reduce mistakes.
-
To check the mark tube, register the name of the mark tube in the harness inspection software (such as WireExpress), and by touching it with your finger, you can conveniently perform a visual check and continuity check of the mark tube simultaneously.
-
To improve the efficiency of wiring work to the distribution board, it is convenient to touch the cable terminals with your fingers to check the wiring locations. If you register the destination names in the harness inspection software (WireExpress/WireExpress Hi-Pot), you can perform wiring work without having to check the drawings.
