Furthermore, we will make use of CAD data! ~ Four functions for processing efficiency ~
This document discusses four functions that CAD data possesses, which can be utilized on the Mastercam side to improve machining efficiency. (Examples) ■ When there are many holes, I sometimes miss them... It would be great if the CAM could automatically recognize the hole information from the CAD data. ■ The geometric tolerance information from CAD cannot be imported into CAM... If the geometric tolerances could be reflected, we could set up machining more efficiently. ■ Another design change? Where exactly has the change been made? I have to recreate the machining data from scratch... It would be nice if I could calculate the paths only for the areas that have been changed. ■ The additional machining content is simple, but setting up jigs and clamps takes time... If we could identify tool interference during the jig design stage, it could be reflected in the design.
