Standalone board for evaluating HOLT's MIL-STD-1553 protocol IC.
Holt provides free evaluation boards for each MIL-STD-1553 protocol IC. The standalone evaluation kit consists of two boards: a protocol IC board and an ARM M3 microcontroller board. The kit comes with a pre-written demo program, allowing for immediate demonstration right out of the box. A demo project file for the IAR Systems Embedded Workbench for ARM, which is available for free, is also included, enabling users to modify the program and customize it to their specifications. These boards are separable, allowing the protocol IC board to be connected and used with a familiar microcontroller/FPGA.
