Measurement results of surface roughness after hand finishing of FRP products with a textured surface【Document】

Evaluation from two perspectives: surface roughness as a micro assessment and surface profile as a macro assessment!

This document is a technical report that evaluates the surface roughness and surface profile of different samples made by hand lay-up, which have three surfaces: the release surface, hand-finished surface, and molded surface. In conclusion, the surface roughness values for Ra, Rz, and Pt improved by approximately 77 to 85% compared to the release surface.
