At a certain power and nuclear power plant, a universal joint was connected to the stem of a manual valve inside the partition wall separating the controlled and non-controlled areas, extending it outside the wall for operation with a manual handle. In the modified mechanism, a through shaft was installed in the partition wall, and an attachment was set up outside the wall, allowing for easy valve operation by connecting it to the flexible shaft of the "Uni-Handler."
