The LOI value is 43%. Compared to flame-retardant fibers like aramid fibers, it can be said to have a high self-extinguishing property. ◎ Antiviral and antibacterial properties According to the AATCC 100:2012 method, antiviral testing against the bacteriophage MS2 showed a virus reduction rate of 93.82% after 2 hours and 99.29% after 24 hours for the adhered bacteriophage MS2. ◎ Chemical resistance PyroTex is resistant to acidic and alkaline solvents, with almost no degradation in strength. ◎ Low thermal conductivity (insulating properties) The thermal conductivity is extremely low at 0.03W/mK [ISO8301], making it a highly insulating fiber material. ◎ No harmful gas emissions PyroTex does not release harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen chloride, or sulfur dioxide, and does not produce smoke. ◎ Obtained fiber safety certification "Oeko-Tex"
