0.5mm pitch high heat resistance one-action connector for FPC/FFC
The 6810 series is a one-action type lockable FPC/FFC connector designed for automation of processes using industrial robots. Its unique locking structure allows for automatic locking with just one action (one motion) when inserting the FPC/FFC, achieving excellent workability. Additionally, since it does not lock in a partially mated state, it is a product that can identify misaligned parts using automatic optical inspection (AOI) equipment. It is available in two types: a straight type where the board and FPC/FFC mate vertically, and a right-angle type where they mate parallel. Both types are offered in a standard version suitable for general electronic devices such as office equipment and home appliances, as well as a high heat-resistant version suitable for automotive equipment, with an expanded operating temperature range up to +125°C. *Please refer to the catalog for more details.*

- A unique locking structure with good workability, where simply inserting the FPC/FFC allows the springs at both ends of the connector to assist the rotation of the actuator, automatically locking when a complete fit is achieved. - When removing the FPC/FFC, it is necessary to press down on the tab of the actuator while pulling it out, preventing the locking mechanism from remaining in the released state, thus ensuring a high-reliability design that prevents accidental disconnection of the FPC/FFC due to operational errors or unintended contact. - A one-action type compatible with automatic assembly lines using robots. The actuator can detect fitting issues, allowing for visual confirmation as well as judgment by automatic optical inspection (AOI) devices, contributing to measures against the outflow of partially fitted products. - Available in straight type and right-angle type to enhance design flexibility. - A high heat-resistant type capable of withstanding temperatures up to +125°C, suitable for automotive equipment, is also available. - The straight type comes in embossed tape packaging with 1,200 pieces, while the right-angle type contains 1,500 pieces. - Environmentally friendly, compliant with the RoHS directive, and halogen-free products. - Contact material: copper alloy. - Insulator material: heat-resistant resin. - Operating temperature range: -40°C to +125°C (high heat-resistant type), -40°C to +85°C (standard type).
