The OASIS Implant is a fluorescence imaging fiber scope that responds to light stimulation in any area under free movement. Unlike typical head-mounted micro-fluorescence microscopes, it houses optical devices such as cameras and filters for calcium imaging on a platform body separate from the animal. This reduces the weight burden on the animal's head and allows for the use of higher resolution cameras. All equipment that can be attached to the platform body, including cameras, light sources, and filters, is interchangeable, enabling observations using different fluorescent proteins with a single device.
